Some signs bring more intensity to a Full Moon than others. Some feel more emotional, while others carry a lighter, more optimistic tone. For me, a Full Moon in Sagittarius falls into the latter category. There is light here. Hope. Movement. A sense that possibilities exist beyond our current circumstances. Part of this comes from Sagittarius being ruled by Jupiter—the planet of growth, expansion, wisdom and faith.

Woven into this Full Moon are planetary aspects that feel both soft and inspiring and hard and heavy. You might feel like you’re stuck in the mud, wanting to move forward (you can see the path!) but not quite able to take the next step. You’re not alone in that. And this Full Moon sits at the midpoint of Aquarius, a fixed sign. It suggests we’re in transition—one foot in the old, one inching toward the new. Fixed signs don’t let go easily, but Aquarius asks us to.

The Full Moon in Capricorn on 11 July 2025 asks us to pause, reflect and look at the long game. This lunation invites us to take stock of where we’re going and whether the goals we’re working toward are truly aligned with our values. Are they still ours? Or were they inherited—borrowed from family, society or a younger version of ourselves?
